I’ve been given the opportunity to share some of my heart with you on this, your very own Young Adults website. In a world where the focus almost always turns to self, I want to encourage you to keep your focus on Christ. Keep Him as the center of your life, being Christ-centered rather than self-centered. The world and those who go after the things of the world are running for a crown that will perish, but we who run the race with Christ and toward a heavenly goal will receive a crown that does not perish, one that is eternal and will even receive blessings while in the midst of that race. As we grow older, it becomes more of a challenge to stay focused, the trials at times seem difficult, the end of the tunnel may seem far away and dimly lit, however it remains. As you remain steadfast in the Lord, eyes fixed on Christ, running, fighting, submitting wholly to God, being led by the Spirit, walking by faith and not by sight, you too will receive an imperishable crown, a treasure stored up in heaven. Don’t be lead by what you see, instead follow your heart. Make wise choices…choose life…choose Christ and win!
